Marc Sylvan's music and sound design can be heard around the world and this is reflected in his portfolio. With television credits that embrace a wide range of programming, his signature tunes feature on fashion, sport and music shows as well as documentaries and channel identities. Recent work includes the prime-time BBC1 action spectacular 'Total Wipeout', the hit ITV1 game show 'Golden Balls', the prestigious 'Samuel Johnson Prize' award ceremony and Channel 4's nerve-jangling live television event 'The Million Pound Drop', hosted by Davina McCall. He has also been commissioned to score commercials, most recently for 'Sega Rally Revo', 'The Sun Bingo', 'Rolls Royce', 'Honda', 'Yamaha' and the 'Saleen S7 Supercar'. Marc's body of work has grown to include video games and he is currently working with award winning game composer Richard Jacques, scoring the latest instalment of Sega's legendary video game franchise 'Virtua Tennis' (PS3/Wii). Other work with Richard includes 'The Club' (PS3), 'Pursuit Force' (PSP), 'Sega Superstars Tennis' (Wii), 'EyeToy: Play 3' (PS2), 'Family Game Night' (Wii/PS2) and 'EyeToy: Play Sports' (PS2). Marc has also composed soundtracks for digital film and animation, most notably Belief-EXP's sci-fi short 'Embryo' (winner of 'Best Sound Design' at the Vision 2004 Festival) which led to collaborations with 'Beavis and Butthead' animator James Dean Conklin and 'Shrek' senior animator Lee Lanier. Multimedia and web content are becoming ever increasing areas of work with titles including Adobe's 'After-Effects' series and Epiphany Software's 'Bible Explorer 3' along with website sonification for clients such as First Direct, Rolls Royce, British Heart Foundation, Endemol Gaming, Red Bull, Yamaha and Monaco super-club Amber Lounge.
